Avoid parking woes – MAXX to the Warriors

ARTA Media Release

Avoid parking woes – MAXX to the Warriors

Avoid the bother and cost of parking and catch a ride on public transport to see the Warriors take on the Cowboys this Sunday 17 May.

Kick-off is at 2pm, give the traffic queues a miss and catch the train to Penrose station, a 15 minute walk from Mt Smart. Extra services will run on the Southern and Western lines to take fans to and from the game.

Passengers are reminded that rail bus replacements will be operating between New Lynn and Avondale on the Western line and therefore fans traveling from this area should allow extra time for their journey to Penrose.

Another easy option is to jump aboard one of the regular bus services travelling via Great South Rd past Penrose station, and 008 or 009 Crosstown services travelling via Mt Smart Stadium, to get to the game.

Don’t miss any of the action - leave plenty of time to get to your seat.

Train tickets will be available from both the Papakura and Britomart Ticket Offices and on board the train and rail bus replacements. Normal train fares to and from all stations apply.

Rugby-goers planning to use public transport to and from Mt Smart Stadium can get more information from MAXX on (09) 366 6400 or at www.maxx.co.nz
