Music concerts bring enjoyment to late summer weekends

It’s not too late to enjoy a weekend in the sun with Manukau City Council’s Summer on the Lawn concert series.

Back by popular demand, the free music concerts take place on Sunday afternoons – bringing a range of musical styles and great entertainment to Manurewa’s Nathan Homestead.

Coming up on Sunday 8 March is the seven-piece group Banda Latina, with their exotic Latin American sound. Then, on Sunday 15 March, Allegro will be sure to thrill music-lovers with their high energy and lively musical pace.


What:              Latin on the Lawn

When:             Sunday 8 March, 4–6pm

Where:            Nathan Homestead Grounds, 70 Hill Road, Manurewa

 

What:              Easy Listening on the Lawn

When:             Sunday 15 March, 4–6pm

Where:            Nathan Homestead Grounds, 70 Hill Road, Manurewa

Bring along your picnic basket and blanket and enjoy the last days of summer with a great line up of free entertainment. 

In case of wet or unsuitable weather, concerts will be cancelled - phone 267 0180 after 1pm for cancellation updates.
