What’s your sporting dream?

The John Walker ‘Find your Field Of Dreams’ Foundation is giving four Manukau youngsters the opportunity of a lifetime to join the Dream Team. Thirty-six children between the ages of nine and 11 from the Auckland region will run onto the field with the LA Galaxy and Oceania All Stars teams.

Each Dream Team member will also receive an Adidas kit that they get to keep.

To enter, children will need to write down what their Big Sporting Dream is in 50 words or less and send it to the Foundation by 5pm Wednesday 26 November. Councillor John Walker and Mayor Len Brown will choose the four most inspiring to join the Dream Team.

How to enter:

•           Visit www.fieldofdreams.org.nz and fill in the form or

•           Send an email to fieldofdreams@manukau.govt.nz  Include the write-up about the sporting dream, the child’s name and date of birth, parent’s name, postal address,        

            contact phone number, and name of the school or

•           Post the above details to ‘What’s Your Sporting Dream?’ Competition, C/- Mayoral Office, Private Bag 76917, Manukau city 2241.

 

Conditions: 

The participant must live in Manukau or attend a school in Manukau.

They must be aged between 9 and 11 (inclusive) on Saturday 6 December; (proof of birth date will be required).

They will receive two non-transferable tickets to the game – one for the child and one for an accompanying caregiver.

The prize does not include transport to the venue.

They will need to be at Mt Smart Stadium by 6pm on Saturday 6 December.
