MAXX out on Silverferns netball
On Monday 13 October, Aucklanders planning to watch the Silver Ferns take on England in the 2008 New World International
Netball Series can catch a MAXX bus, train or ferry to Vector Arena, which is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the
Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal.
A regular timetable will be operating for all buses, trains and ferries travelling to Britomart. Normal fares will
The Link bus, which stops on Beach Road close to Vector Arena, is a good way to get to the game. Passengers can catch
The Link from various locations around the CBD, Parnell, Newmarket, Karangahape Road and Ponsonby. The cash fare is
$1.60 one way.
Fans are advised to allow plenty of time to get to Vector Arena in time for the game.
Additional train services will be operating after the match finishes. The Southern line service will depart Britomart at
10.00pm travelling to Otahuhu, while the Eastern line service to Papakura departs Britomart at 10.05pm. On the Western
Line, a train will depart Britomart for Waitakere at 10.03pm.
