Join in national Pushâ–ºPlay celebrations at Manukau Square
Manukau Leisure Services Ltd, in partnership with Counties Manukau Sport, invites Manukau residents to get active and join in their Pushâ–ºPlay Nation celebration at Manukau Square next week.
Push►Play Nation is a nationwide campaign developed by Sport and Recreation New Zealand (SPARC) to get more New Zealanders active, more often. It is based on the fact that even small amounts of activity are good for your health and that you don’t have to be involved in traditional sport to be active.
Business Development and Marketing Manager for Manukau Leisure Services Philip Dobson says, “This year we want to give residents the chance to try something different. Our free 45 minute classes are guaranteed to get your heart pumping and are lots of fun.
“We’d like staff from local businesses, friends and whanau to join us for a 45 minute workout that combines Fight Do – the ultimate in shadow boxing and Mega Danz a combination of latin, salsa, pop, hip hop and jazz.
“Procare will be there offering nutritional advice and the Diabetes Project Trust will be handing out information as well as diabetes screening” says Mr Dobson.
