Big Wednesday Millions Won in Manukau, Auckland
Big Wednesday's top prize package worth more than $2.9 million has been struck tonight by a lucky ticket-holder who bought a ticket in Manukau in Auckland, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay. "This will be a Super Wednesday they will never forget."
"Big Wednesday's First Division keeps being struck by players this year with the luxury prize package being won an amazing eight times.
"Only a month ago a ticket sold at Countdown Papakura won a total prize package worth $2.9 million," says Mr McLeay.
The winning ticket sold at Botany New World Lotto in Manukau has won a total prize package worth $2,997,140 made up of:
- $2 million;
- an Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
- an Audi Q7;
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- a $250,000 luxury travel package; and
- a Rayglass Legend 2500 boat.
Mr McLeay's advice for this week's Big Wednesday winner is to write their name and address on their ticket as soon as possible, confirming ownership. "They should then contact NZ Lotteries' Wellington office on (04) 802 7000, and we can provide advice about the next steps to take," he says.
Tonight's other winner was a lucky Auckland player who won a Lexus IS250 in Big Wednesday's Second Chance draw. The winning ticket was sold at Glen Innes Pak N Save in Auckland and the winning serial number is 087-56506636-13XX.
Every ticket bought for this Wednesday's draw was entered in the Second Chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection matched the coin toss in the draw, the ticket holder has won the luxury Lexus IS250.
"Anyone who bought a ticket at the winning retailers should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.
