SH1 Northern Motorway traffic bulletin
Sunday 15 - Thursday 19 June

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closures for work on the Northern Motorway (SH1):

ONEWA RD
Sunday 15 - Thursday 19 June
• Onewa Rd northbound on and off-ramps and southbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for pavement works and footbridge removal.
Onewa Rd and Sylvan Ave will also be closed.

Detours via Stafford Rd or Northcote Rd.

ESMONDE RD
Sunday 15 June - Thursday 19 June
• Akoranga Dr northbound on-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am for guardrail installation.
Detour via Northcote Rd.

Sunday 15 June - Thursday 19 June
• Esmonde Rd westbound between Barrys Point Rd and Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am for island reconstruction works.

Esmonde Rd southbound and northbound on-ramps will also be closed.

Detour via Barrys Point Rd, Taharoto Rd to Northcote Rd.

If any of the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps or interchanges are closed at the same time.

Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in place. Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
