Type of car sightings of sought by police.
Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas says that with the huge amount of help provided by the public, the description of the four door sedan has been narrowed down to a silver Mitsubishi Gallant or similar.
"We're still interested in further sightings of the speeding car," she says. "We would also like any one else who saw this car on that day to contact us."
The inquiry team has spent the weekend consolidating the information received from the public over the past three weeks. Releasing the photo of the car will help the inquiry move further forward says Ms Le Bas.
"After careful consideration we have eliminated other sightings and are confident this is the type of vehicle we need sightings of," she says.
