SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing
traffic bulletin
Sunday 20 - Thursday 24 April
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closures for work on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) as part of the Manukau Harbour Crossing project:
Sunday 20
April
* Coronation Road northbound on-ramp closed
overnight from 9pm until 5am for line marking and barrier
movements.
- Detour via Coronation Road to Rimu Road
on-ramp.
- Contingency dates are 21 - 24 April.
Monday
21 April
* Rimu Road between northbound on-ramp
and Mahunga Drive closed overnight from 9am until 3pm for
asphalt surfacing.
- The left turn from Rimu
Road/Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp will also be closed.
- Detour via Rimu Road northbound on-ramp, Neilson
Street, Walmsley Road southbound off-ramp and Coronation
Road.
- Contingency dates are 22 and 23 April.
The
following closures will be in place for one or two nights
between Sunday 20 April and Thursday 24 April:

Rimu Road northbound on-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am the
following morning for line marking and barrier movements.
- Detour via Coronation Road northbound on-ramp.

Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp closed from 9pm
until 5am the following morning for barrier movements.

Detour via Walmsley Road off-ramp and Mahunga Drive.

Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive between Coronation Road roundabout
and Miro Road closed from 9pm until 5am the following
morning for line marking and barrier movements.

Detour via Coronation and Walmsley Roads and Mahunga
Drive.
* Walmsley Road southbound off-ramp closed
from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking
and barrier movements.
- Detour via Rimu Road/Mahunga
Drive off-ramp and Mahunga Drive.
If any of the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps or interchanges are closed at the same time.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in place. Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
