Google car putting Warrington on the map?

Published: Tue 8 Jan 2008 12:14 AM
A small car was spotted in Warrington today, apparently driving around all the streets in turn. The car displayed prominent "Google" logos on each side and had a tripod on the roof with a shiny black round object on top.
This photograph [e.g. as at Engadget - Scoop Ed] of a Volkswagen Beetle with similar equipment (found using Google Images) is not the car spotted in Warrington and is an unauthorised copy of uncertain origin, please use with discretion.
