Central Plains Water Trust

The Commissioners appointed by Environment Canterbury (ECan) and Selwyn District Council to determine the applications by Central Plains Water Trust have issued minutes and directions, following a pre-hearing held on 18 December 2007 to consider procedural matters.

The Commissioners have directed that the hearing will commence on 25 February 2008.

The directions include the indicative timetable for the hearing, circulation of the applicant’s evidence, circulation of the two consent authorities Section 42A reports, and the presentation of evidence by parties at the hearing.

A copy of the directions will be sent to parties who reserved the right to be heard.
