Police Staff Member Doused With Accelerant

Location of incident: Waltham, Christchurch
Incident Type: Police assault
Two Police went to address in Christchurch to assist court staff impound a vehicle.
The car owner then threw an accelerant over one of the Police staff and reached for a cigerette lighter.
He was restrained by Police as he attempted to ignite his lighter and was arrested.
