Donations To Go Towards Plunket
A big thank you to all those who helped to collect, and to those who
generously gave to our door to door collectors. $250 was given in the
Blueskin area. These funds will be put towards the cost of the Plunket
Nurse visiting families in their own homes, and holding clinics within
the area. Thank you.
A plaque is to be unveiled at Karitane on December 13th to commemorate
the work of Sir Truby King and the Plunket Society. This will be
followed by an afternoon tea for invited guests who will include past
volunteers, nurses and other VIPs.
We have just completed a series of swimming lessons for the 1-4 yr
olds and it has been fabulous to watch their skills and confidence
grow. We look forward to another series next year and thank the
Bendigo Trust for subsidising the lessons.
If you would like any information about Plunket volunteers, please contact us.
We hope you all have a fantastic holiday season with your families.
