Free Travel for Supergold Card Holders

To celebrate International Day of the Older Person, Horizons Regional Council is providing free travel for two weeks to all SuperGold Card Holders, Monday to Friday, between the 1 October and 12 October.

Free travel on all Palmerston North buses will be available to anyone with a valid SuperGold Card travelling during these two weeks, leaving from Main Street depot after 9am and returning to the Main Street depot by 3pm.

“International day of the Older Person is a great way of recognising and thanking the older person for the contribution they give to our region,” says Carole Stevens, Horizons transport officer.

Senior Citizens can just hop on board and show their driver their SuperGold card and they will automatically travel for free during this period.
