Public transport best way to get to Bob Dylan
On Saturday 11 August, Bob Dylan fans can take the easy option and ride with MAXX on the bus, train or ferry to Vector Arena, which is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Britomart Transport Centre and the Downtown Ferry Terminal.
A great way to get to the concert is taking The Link bus, which stops on Beach Road close to Vector Arena. Passengers can catch The Link from various locations around the CBD, Parnell, Newmarket, Karangahape Road and Ponsonby. The cash fare is $1.60 one way.
Concert goers travelling to Britomart on the Southern Line should note that a revised train timetable will be operating this weekend for all stations between Papakura and Otahuhu, including bus replacements between Homai and Otahuhu.
A regular timetable will be operating for all other trains, buses and ferries travelling to Britomart, and normal fares will apply.
Fans are advised to allow plenty of time to get to Vector Arena in time for the show.
After the concert, regular train services will be operating from Britomart until approximately 11.40pm on the Eastern Line and until just after midnight on the Southern and Western Lines.
Regular ferry services from Auckland to Devonport will be running until 1.00am.
Passengers are advised to check bus and train timetables carefully before travelling and ensure they allow plenty of time to plan their journeys.
Fans planning to use public transport to and from the Bob Dylan concert can get more information from MAXX on (09) 366 6400 or at www.maxx.co.nz
