CMJ TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SUNDAY 1 JULY UNTIL THURSDAY 5 JULY

Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.

Full motorway closures:

Sunday 1, Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 July – CLOSED – overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Southern Motorway (SH1) between Cook St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp southbound

Sunday 1, Monday 2 and Wednesday 4 July – CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Southern Motorway (SH1) between Nelson St off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp northbound

Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 July – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for line marking:

·         Southern Motorway (SH1) between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp northbound

Ramp and link closures:

Sunday 1, Monday 2 and Wednesday 4 July – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Port to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound and Port to North (SH1) northbound

Sunday 1 and Monday 2 July – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Hobson on-ramp to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

Sunday 1, Monday 2 and Wednesday 4 July – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Northern Motorway (SH1) northbound

·         Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Nelson St

Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 July – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound link to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

·         Southern Motorway (SH1) to Nelson St off-ramp citybound

·         Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to St Lukes Rd off-ramp westbound

Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 July – CLOSED – overnight from 8.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Newton Rd on-ramp to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

Tuesday 3 and Thursday 4 July – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Northwestern Motorway (SH16)  eastbound to Newton Rd off-ramp

Tuesday 3 until Thursday 5 July – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

·         Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound links to Port and Southern Motorway (SH1) southbound

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
