CMJ traffic bulletin: Sunday 24 June until Thursday 28 June

Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.

Full motorway closures:

Sunday 24 and Monday 25 June - CLOSED - overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Southern Motorway (SH1) between Cook St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp southbound

Tuesday 26 June - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am on Wednesday for line marking:

* Southern Motorway (SH1) between Nelson St off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp northbound

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for line marking:

* Southern Motorway (SH1) between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp

Ramp and link closures:

Sunday 24, Monday 25, Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound link to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

Sunday 24 until Tuesday 26 June - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Port to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound and Port to North (SH1) northbound

Sunday 24 and Monday 25 June - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound to Newton Rd off-ramp

Tuesday 26 June - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am on Wednesday for line marking:

* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Northern Motorway (SH1) northbound
* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Nelson St

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Southern Motorway (SH1) to Nelson St off-ramp citybound

Wednesday 27 June - CLOSED - overnight from 8.30pm until 5am on Thursday for line marking:

* Newton Rd on-ramp to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

Wednesday 27 June - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5am on Thursday for line marking:

* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to St Lukes Rd off-ramp westbound

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 June - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking:

* Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound links to Port and Southern Motorway (SH1) southbound

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.

In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
