See Pink, without the parking hassles

Fans of pop-rock star Pink can leave the car at home this Sunday when they head to her concert at the Vector Arena, as public transport services by the Auckland Regional Transport Authority will have them arriving right at the door.

The best way to get to the Vector Arena is taking The Link, which stops right outside the arena. Passengers can catch The Link from various locations around the CBD, Parnell, Newmarket, Karangahape Road and Ponsonby. The cash fare is $1.60 one way.

Vector Arena is located approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Britomart Transport Centre. A regular Sunday timetable will be operating for all buses, trains and ferries travelling to Britomart, and normal fares will apply. As per the normal Sunday timetable, train services on the Western line will terminate at New Lynn.

Special train services will depart Britomart after the concert finishes at 10.45pm. On the Western line, a train will depart for New Lynn at 11.30pm. On the Eastern and Southern lines, a train will depart for Papakura (via Newmarket) at 11.25pm and for Otahuhu (via Glen Innes) at 11.35pm.

Fans heading home to the North Shore can catch a special ferry for Devonport at 11.15pm.

Passengers planning to use public transport to and from the Pink concert can get more information from MAXX on (09) 366 6400 or visit www.maxx.co.nz
