Media Release
6 June 2007

Kids cut loose with Manukau’s winter school holiday programme

The winter school holidays are just around the corner and Manukau City Council’s Leisure Services team has put together an exciting range of fun activities guaranteed to keep the kids entertained.

Roller skating, make your own t-shirt, pancake tower competitions, movies, arts and craft, trips to Kelly Tarlton’s, Rainbows End and Auckland Museum are just a few of the school holiday activities available for 5 to 14 year olds at council’s facilities across the city from 2 – 13 July.

Manukau on the Move’s Teen Extreme programme has a host of outdoor action-packed pursuits for 12 to 16 year olds. From caving, bush adventures, an amazing race day and mountain biking (bring your own bike or use one of theirs), there is something to appeal to even the most energetic teen.
