MAXX out on laughs at comedy festival

Laugh all the way to the NZ International Comedy Festival from 4 to 27 May with MAXX buses, trains and ferries to make getting there easy.

With performances happening around Auckland, the best idea is to go to www.maxx.co.nz and use the online journey planner to plan your travel in advance.

For shows in the central city, catch any train heading to Britomart or any bus heading to central Auckland.

Catch The Link for $1.60 to get to venues at Victoria Park, Newmarket, University of Auckland and Queen Street.

The free City Circuit bus also loops the central city area every ten minutes between 8am and 6pm each day.

Comedians can catch a NiteRider bus if travelling home late after shows on Friday or Saturday nights. Buses depart the Civic and St James on Friday and Saturday nights for most destinations between 1am and 3am. Late-night train services also operate on Friday and Saturday nights for return journeys.

Shows on the North Shore and Waitakere can be reached by buses and ferries for the Shore and buses and trains for those heading out west.  For more information see www.maxx.co.nz or call 366 6400 to work out your travel plans.
