BUSWAY TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 24 TO FRIDAY 30 MARCH

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

ONEWA RD
Sunday 25 & Monday 26 March
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Onewa Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am for barrier placement.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Esmonde Rd off-ramp northbound

Thursday 29 March
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Onewa Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier placement.
• Motorists are advised to use the Northcote southbound off-ramp or follow the diversion via Shelly Beach Rd off-ramp, Curran St on-ramp & Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 26 March

Wednesday 28 & Thursday 29 March
Southbound on-ramp from Onewa Rd to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am for barrier placement.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp southbound
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 26 March

ESMONDE RD
Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 March
Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rd to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for gantry construction.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp southbound.

NORTHCOTE RD
Sunday 25, Monday 26 & Thursday 29 March
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for paving works.
• Motorists are advised to use the Esmonde northbound off-ramp or follow the diversion via Tristram Ave off-ramp northbound
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 March

TRISTRAM AVE
Sunday 25, Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 March
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Tristram Ave – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier construction.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd off-ramp southbound
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 26 March

Sunday 25, Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 March
Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier construction.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp southbound

Sunday 25, Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 March
Tristram Ave, between southbound motorway ramps & Raines Ave – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for works on the new Busway viaduct.
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Forrest Hill Rd & Wairau Rd

If any of the contingency dates are required then all work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed to ensure that no two consecutive over bridges or interchanges are closed at the same time.

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
