Hassle-free transport to Pasifika

Aucklanders travelling to Western Springs for the sights and sounds of Pasifika this Saturday 10 March can leave the car at home and catch the bus or train.

Special buses will leave from the 277 Broadway every 15 minutes between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Saturday. Return buses to Newmarket will leave Western Springs every 15 minutes from 1.15pm to 5.30pm.

Travellers can use their Stagecoach pass. A return journey will cost $6.40.

About bus services to Pasifika:

From the South or East
Catch regular scheduled bus services to Newmarket.
Special Stagecoach buses will depart from the 277 Broadway stop, Newmarket every 15 minutes between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
Return buses will operate to Newmarket from Western Springs every 15 minutes from 1.15pm to 5.30pm.
The journey is 2 stages each way. Regular fares apply and all Stagecoach passes are valid on these special services.

From the North, East or Central City (Britomart)
Catch regular scheduled services to the Central City.
Regular bus services to the Festival operate from Britomart in Downtown Auckland stops D1, D3 and D8 throughout the day, or catch route 045 from Queen Street and K’ Road. Ask for the Western Springs stop.

From the West
Catch any regular scheduled bus service towards Downtown Auckland from the West. These services will travel along Great North Road. Ask for the Western Springs stop.
From New Lynn, these services depart platform 1A.

Trains
Regular scheduled train services will be operating. Catch the train to Britomart and then take a regular bus service to the Festival (as outlined above).
