Media release
23 February 2007

MAXX buses and trains to take Blues fans, Symphony lovers and culture vultures out this weekend

This Saturday Blues rugby fans and music lovers can ride on special and regular buses and trains to Eden Park for the Blues vs. Reds clash and the Auckland Domain for the SKYCITY Starlight Symphony. On Sunday regular buses will take culture vultures to the Auckland International Cultural Festival on Sunday at War Memorial Park, Mount Roskill.

Aucklanders can find out about the best public transport services to take them to and from these events by calling MAXX on 09 366 6400 or visiting www.maxx.co.nz for detail on special services.

Passengers travelling on public transport this weekend to get to these special events are reminded to allow plenty of time for their journey as it is expected that many Aucklanders will choose to travel by public transport to avoid traffic queues and parking hassles.
