Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show on the horizon
The Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show 2007 launched this week, with a fresh new prospectus signalling new adventures ahead for the event.
Joint Venture Chairman (Mystery Creek Events Centre), Doug Baldwin, says that the endorsement of the Marine Industry Association coupled with good industry support is a recipe for success. “Together, we have the venue, the experience and the formula for a great show for both exhibitors and visitors,” he says. “And the location is perfect; with a strong manufacturing base in the Waikato, the region is a hub for boating, fishing and leisure activities and is central to other New Zealand leisure markets.
Exhibitors recognise the value of this one-stop-leisure-shop event with interest in sites high leading up to the earlybird site allocation date of 31 March. The range of exhibitors will be matched by a range of demonstrations, activities, competitions and attractions planned.
“There will be something at the Waikato Boat, Fishing & Leisure Show for everyone,” Baldwin says. “Watch this space!”
