CMJ traffic bulletin: Sunday 11 February until Thursday 15 February

Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.

Full motorway closures:
Sunday 11, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the following morning for installation and inspection of electronic sensors in the road surface:
. Southern Motorway (SH1) between Cook St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp southbound

Sunday 11 until Tuesday 13 February - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for final surfacing and gantry installation:
. Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp

Ramp and link closures:
Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 12.30am until 5.30am the following morning for installation of electronic sensors in the road surface:
. Hobson St on-ramp to Southern Motorway (SH1) southbound

Sunday 11 until Tuesday 13 February - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for final surfacing:
. Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound link to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound
. Southern Motorway (SH1) to Nelson St off-ramp citybound

Monday 12 until Wednesday 14 February - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for repair work:
. Wellington St on-ramp to Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound

Sunday 11 until Tuesday 13 February - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5.30am the following morning for final surfacing:
. Port to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) and Port to North northbound

Sunday 11, Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for final surfacing:
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound links to Port and Southern Motorway (SH1) southbound

Monday 12 February - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am on Tuesday for final surfacing:
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to northern Motorway (SH1) northbound
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Nelson Street

Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 12.30am until 5.30am the following morning for installation of electronic sensors in the road surface:
. Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp northbound

Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 8.30pm until 5am the following morning for final surfacing:
. Newton Rd on-ramp to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound

Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February - CLOSED - overnight from 10.30pm until 5am the following morning for final surfacing:
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound to St Lukes Rd off-ramp

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.

In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
