Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 20 January to Friday 26 January

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

Sunday 21 January
CONSTELLATION DR
Southbound on-ramp from Constellation Dr to SH1 – CLOSED – 9pm until 5am the following morning for the removal of lane closures.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 22 January
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave on-ramp

Sunday 21 – Tuesday 23 January
NORTHCOTE RD
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for lane realignment.
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd off-ramp

Tuesday 23 January
NORTHCOTE RD
Southbound on-ramp from Northcote Rd to SH1 – CLOSED – 9pm until 5am the following morning for barrier movements.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 January
This closure will only take place if the Esmonde Rd on-ramp closure is not required
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Esmonde Rd on-ramp

Tuesday 23 – Thursday 25 January
ESMONDE RD
Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rd to SH1 – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier movement.
Diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Wednesday 24 January
ONEWA RD
Northbound on-ramp from Onewa Rd to SH1 – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for enabling works at Onewa interchange.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Thursday 25 January
Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
