Northern Motorway (SH1) and Central Motorway Junction Links Traffic Bulletin:
Transit New Zealand advises motorists that ramp signals are operating on the Northern Motorway (SH1) and Central Motorway Junction links in the following locations:
From Tuesday 19 December onwards, ramp signals are operating at:

Transit New Zealand advises motorists that ramp signals are operating on the Northern Motorway (SH1) and Central Motorway Junction links in the following locations:
From Tuesday 19 December onwards, ramp signals are operating at:
* Port to North
(SH16 – SH1) link (northbound)
* Northwest to North
(SH16 – SH1) link (northbound)
* Wellington Street to
Northern Motorway on-ramp (northbound)
* Curran Street to
Northern Motorway on-ramp (northbound)
The signals operate only when necessary, during the morning and afternoon peaks and other busy times.
Motorists are advised to check for electronic signs as they approach the on-ramp. When lights are red – stop and wait for the green signal. When lights turn green – one vehicle in each lane goes. The next vehicle in each lane moves forward and waits for their turn.
Motorists are advised to observe the traffic lights and drive with caution while adjusting to the new signals.
