Service centres and libraries to close for meeting

Council service centres and libraries to close morning of Tuesday 28 November

Most of the Council customer service counters and some service centres and libraries will be closed on the morning of Tuesday 28 November 2006 to allow staff that are members to attend a union meeting. These facilities will be open in the afternoon.

The customer service counters at Beckenham, Fendalton, Papanui, Riccarton, and Shirley as well as the Lyttelton, Linwood and Sockburn service centres and the libraries at Halswell, Hornby, Linwood, Lyttelton and Spreydon will be closed in the morning until approximately midday.

The customer service counters at the Tuam Street Civic Offices and the service centres at Akaroa and Little River will be open for normal business hours (8.30 am to 5 pm).

All other libraries including the mobile library will be open for normal business hours.
