Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 11 November To Friday 17 November

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

Sunday 12 and Monday 13 November

CONSTELLATION DR

Southbound on-ramp from Constellation Dr to SHI – CLOSED – from 10pm until 5am the following morning for pavement and test pit works.

• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 November

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave or Northcote Rd on-ramp

Sunday 12 – Tuesday 14 November

ESMONDE RD

Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rd to SH1 – CLOSED – from 9pm until 5am the following morning for the demolition of Shoal Bay Bridge.

• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 November

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Monday 13 November

TRISTRAM AVE

Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 – CLOSED - from 7:45pm until 5am the following morning for beam placement of the new viaduct.

• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 14 November

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp

Monday 13 November

NORTHCOTE RD

Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier movements.

• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 November

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave off-ramp

Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 November

NORTHCOTE RD

Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd – CLOSED – from 9pm until 5am the following morning for lane realignment.

• This will only happen if the above closure above does not take place

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd off-ramp

Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 November

ESMONDE RD

Esmonde Rd westbound between Burns Ave & Barrys Point Rd – CLOSED – from 9pm until 5am the following morning for beam placement on Shoal Bay Bridge.

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Barrys Point Rd

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
