Busway traffic bulletin: saturday 23 september to friday 29 september

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway Project construction (weather permitting).

Sunday 24 September
WAIRAU RD
Wairau Rd between Porana Rd & Forrest Hill Rd - CLOSED - from 9pm until 5am the following morning to install a temporary traffic alignment.
- Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd or Tristram Ave.

Sunday 24 –Tuesday 26 September
NORTHCOTE RD & ESMONDE RD
All SH1 Motorway lanes southbound between Northcote Rd & Esmonde Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for pavement construction.
- As part of this closure the Northcote Rd SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed at the same times.
- If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on 27 &28 September.
- Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Esmonde Rd on-ramp.

Wednesday 27 &Thursday 28 September
ESMONDE RD
Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barrys Point Rd and Burns Ave - CLOSED - from 9pm until 5am the following morning for work on Shoal Bay Bridge.
- As part of this closure, the left hand turn from Barrys Point Rd to Esmonde Rd will also be closed at this time.
- Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Barrys Point Rd to Burns Ave & Esmonde Rd.

Wednesday 27 &Thursday 28 September
ESMONDE RD
Esmonde Rd westbound between Lake Rd and Barrys Point Rd - CLOSED - from 9pm until 5am the following morning for work on Shoal Bay Bridge.
- Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Anzac St.
