Family Life International calls on the Auckland City Council to revoke Boobs on Bikes permit
Family Life International calls on the Auckland City Council to revoke the consent it has given to the Boobs on Bikes parade that will be happening in Auckland’s central city at lunchtime on Wednesday 23rd of August.
“This parade is about the legitimising of pornography and it should not be supported by local government” says Family Life International media spokesperson; Brendan Malone.
“The organisers of this event have been given the green light by the council to do something that any other person would normally be arrested for. Not only that, but the police will be providing manpower to coordinate traffic for this event.”
“This shameful event will take place on public roads and there is no telling how young people and children will be exposed to this garbage.”
“What a sad indictment on Auckland that our City Council would consider it acceptable to give official approval to a display of public nudity aimed at promoting the porn industry” says Mr Malone.
Family Life International is encouraging all concerned New Zealanders to get in touch with the Auckland City Council to express their opposition to this event.
