Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 24 June to Friday 30 June

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for the construction of the Northern Busway over the next week (weather permitting).

Sunday 25 June Northcote Rd Interchange SH1 northbound off-ramp ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 9pm until 5am on Monday 26 June to allow for temporary barrier works:

-ƒnMotorists to use Esmonde Rd or Tristram Ave northbound off-ramps as alternatives.

Sunday 25 June to Wednesday 28 June All SH1 motorway lanes southbound between Constellation Drive and Tristram Ave ¡V CLOSED ¡V overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning to allow for pavement widening works: „h„QƒnMotorists are to access the motorway southbound at Tristram Ave, Northcote Rd or Esmonde Rd on-ramps. „hƒnAs part of this closure the Constellation Drive SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed during these times. „h„QƒnDiversion will be in place for motorists to exit the motorway at Constellation Drive and enter the motorway southbound at Tristram Ave.

Sunday 25 June to Thursday 29 June Esmonde Rd Interchange Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barry¡¦s Point Rd and Burns Ave ¡V CLOSED -overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow for demolition of the old Shoal Bay Bridge: „h„QƒnMotorists are to follow sign-posted detours to access Takapuna and Devonport. „h„QƒnAs part of this closure the left turn into Esmonde Rd from Barry¡¦s Point Rd will be closed during these times.

Monday 26 June Northcote Rd Interchange Northcote Rd westbound between Taharoto Rd and the southbound motorway ramps ¡V CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am on Tuesday 27 June to allow for pavement repair works:

-ƒnWestbound traffic should use alternative routes by following the sign posted detours.

- Motorists from the west can still access the motorway from the southbound on-ramp.

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
