Location of incident: Central North Island - up to Waiouru/ Gisbourne
Incident Type: Weather Conditions: Update: Central Area
Police are receiving further reports that road and weather conditions in the following areas have been deteriorating - No road closures as yet, but motorists need to drive with car - drive to the conditions.
SH1 Marton to Waiouru - high winds and heavy rain - conditions described as bad.
Palmerston and Surrounds - Strong winds in the feilding area.
Hawkes Bay - Windy.
Gisbourne - Windy.
