Healing difficult childhoods explored in inspiring book
Auckland City Libraries invites you to a free author talk at Panmure Community Library on Thursday 15 June where author and psychotherapist Kay Douglas will share her personal childhood story that inspired her book “Challenged by Childhood: Healing the hidden hurts of a difficult childhood”.
Kay’s book offers readers a guide to personal healing and self-discovery as well as practical strategies and inspiration for people who have experienced a difficult childhood. “Challenged by Childhood” not only features her own story, but also the moving stories of 60 other men and women.
