Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 27 May to Friday 2 June

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for the construction of the Northern Busway over the next week (weather permitting).

Wednesday 31 May and Thursday 1 June
NORTHCOTE RD INTERCHANGE

NORTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED - on both nights from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow lane remarking and temporary barrier work:
. Motorists are to use Esmonde Rd or Tristram Ave off-ramps as alternatives

Sunday 28, Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 May

TRISTRAM AVE INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED - on all nights from 10pm until 5am the following morning to allow for waterblasting:

* Motorists are to use Constellation Dr or Northcote Rd off-ramps as alternatives.
Sunday 28, Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 May
TRISTRAM AVE INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND ON-RAMP - CLOSED - on all nights from 10pm until 5am the following morning to allow for line marking and waterblasting:

* Motorists are to use Constellation Dr or Northcote Rd on-ramps as alternatives.
Thursday 1 June

ALL SH1 SOUTHBOUND MOTORWAY LANES
FROM CONSTELLATION DR TO TRISTRAM AVE - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am Friday morning to allow for temporary barrier placement:

. Motorists are to access the motorway southbound at Tristram Ave or Esmonde Rd on-ramps
. As part of this closure the Constellation Dr on-ramp, SH1 southbound, will also be closed at the same time.

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
