New management team announced at Greater Wellington
A new management team at Greater Wellington Regional Council was announced today by CEO David Benham.
“The current structure has been in place since 1995 when a relatively minor restructure took place. Other than some alterations in the corporate roles and positions, the management structure of the Council has remained the same since 1989,” said Mr Benham.
“In the last few years a number of changes have happened to our roles and activities. As a result I decided to restructure my management team. I believe the new structure, and today’s appointments, provide for strong and clear accountabilities and align the vision and strategy of the Council with the various activities we undertake.”
I am now very pleased to announce the following appointments, which will take effect from 1 February 2006.
Geoff Dick - Divisional Manager, Catchment Management
Jane Bradbury - Divisional Manager, Corporate and Strategy
Wayne Hastie – Divisional Manager, Transport Infrastructure and Procurement
Murray Kennedy – Divisional Manager, Water Supply, Parks and Forests
Mr Benham said two roles remain unfilled following the internal selection process. These will be filled in the New Year, and may be advertised externally. The Chief Financial Officer position remains unchanged.
Divisional Manager, Environment Management
Divisional Manager, Transport Policy and Strategy
