Western Corridor Plan hearings begin Monday
The hearing of submissions on the proposed Western Corridor Plan begins on Monday, 9.00 am at Thinktankz, 25-27 Vivian
St Wellington.
On Monday the Western Corridor Plan Hearing Subcommittee will hear from the study group who developed the proposed plan.
Key statutory submitters and community organisations will be heard throughout the rest of the week.
A schedule of when submitters will be heard will be available on Greater Wellington’s website under the Western Corridor
Plan Consultation pages from Friday afternoon. This schedule is preliminary, and subject to change.
Media are welcome to attend the hearings. Copies of submissions will be available at the hearings venue.
Hearings are being held in Wellington, at Thinktankz, on 28, 29 and 30 November and 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, December.
Hearings in Porirua will be held at the Auditorium, Te Wananga o Aotearoa, Todd Park, 1 Herriot Drive. The first
hearings will take place on the 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 December, with reserve days on the 24, 25, 26, 27th January 2006.
Additional dates have been set aside in February should hearings need to continue. The additional dates are
2,3,7,8,9,10,13,14,15 February.
