What's Really Happening with the Bypass?

Get behind the spin, be heard, and find out what you can do.

"For a long time, Transit has said the bypass was going to be built 'soon', but it never happened. Now, they have been given construction funding and have said that construction will begin this year" said CBC spokesperson, Caro Henckels.

"The situation is more urgent than ever and Te Aro supporters cannot give up at this point!"

"The bypass is more than just a transport issue and this decision has implications for the ability of communities throughout Aoteoaroa to influence decision-makers" said Ms Henckels.

"The future of Wellington is at stake here. CBC urges people to come along and see what they can do to resist Transit turning Wellington into a concrete city."

When and Where?
