Takapuna Branch Incident

12 November 2003
MEDIA RELEASE

Takapuna Branch Incident
(In relation to an incident which occurred at our Takapuna Branch
this morning)

Statement made by Peter Thompson, Director, Barfoot & Thompson

No staff or member of the public has been hurt.

Our key focus remains on the staff and securing and repairing the premises.

The damage caused, while extensive, is restricted to a broken window and office equipment.

We will be working with the Police to have a better understanding of what happened and why.

The person apprehended by Police is known to our Takapuna staff, but as the man is in Police custody we do not believe it is appropriate to comment further.
