Dan Wilson Quartet Play Cathedral Square
Free Friday Lunchtime Concert, November 7th , 12.15pm to 1.15pm, Cathedral Square.
With ten years experience playing together, the Dan Wilson Quartet will present swing, jazz and Latin music in Cathedral Square from 12.15pm this Friday as part of the Free Friday Lunchtime Concert Series.
Danny Wilson plays saxophone and flute, Mike Arthur plays guitar, Brent Thompson plays bass and Farsea Fialele completes the quartet on drums.
Mike Arthur is from Sydney and has been playing in New Zealand for 12 years. Brent Thompson plays bass for "G and T' and has performed extensively in Auckland. Farsea Fialele is from Samoa and is currently studying at Jazz School.
Danny Wilson has a long history in local bands, including 'Louie and the Hotstixs' and 'Sneaky Feet'.
The Dan Wilson Quartet has performed at many festivals and events throughout the South Island, as well as hotels including the Millennium in Queenstown.
