Temporary Supply Of Wainuioamata Water To Petone

Temporary Supply Of Wainuioamata Water To Petone

Wellington Regional Council have advised that a partial deviation of the recently relined bulk water pipeline will result in a shutdown of the Randwick-Rahui pipeline that supplies artesian water to the Petone community.

The shutdown will result in Petone being supplied with chlorinated and fluoridated water from the Wainuiomata to Wellington bulk water main, from approximately 17 March 2003 to June 2003.

The work is being undertaken as part of Hutt City Council's upgrade of the Hutt Park roundabout and associated works around the entrance of Hutt Park.
