Action: Dumping christmas trees

Action: Dumping christmas trees

Date: Monday 6th January

Time: 10 am

Meeting: Pine Street, New Lynn.

Walking to nearby Labour M.P's office: 3133B Great North Road, New Lynn.

Residents are disgusted it has taken M.A.F nearly 4 years to set up a vegetation control, & in doing so they have helped the spread of the Painted Apple Moth, resulting in a larger number of houses being aerial sprayed with BTK foray 48B.

"For years they've kept us in the dark, placing no vegetation restrictions, now they're threatening residents with hefty fines & jail sentences, it's ridiculous", says Rachel Wapenaar. "No wonder M.A.F is fighting a loosing battle with this pest, it most likely left Auckland on the back of a trailer years ago."

Until M.A.F addresses the biosecurity problem, checking every single container ship that comes into this city, there will be many creatures trying to make their home in N.Z.

M.A.F must be held accountable for the shocking handling of this campaign, & make the necessary changes needed, to ensure this never happens again.

Until this takes place No Way Spray will continue their actions."
