At this month's Mayoral Forum meeting, Auckland's mayors are being confidentially briefed by the Minister of Police and senior Police officials on the release of the Auckland Policing Report and security issues concerning the America's Cup and the Viaduct Basin. The Minister of Police and Police Commissioner and other senior Police officers will meet with the mayors from 9.30am to 11.00am. Other matters will then be discussed, with the forum expected to conclude at 11.30am.
Following this meeting the media are invited to attend briefings by the Minister of Police, George Hawkins, Police Commissioner Rob Robinson and later with the Auckland Mayoral Forum, Assistant Commissioner Clint Rickards and Inspector Mark Hall.
The media conferences will take place in the: Ground floor meeting room
