WELLINGTON - Local body election politics dissected in the fresh light of morning
THE ACTIVE MAYORAL RACE
Radio Active 89FM's spin for a mayoral win... on BREAKFAST
Wednesdays 8:10am with Liam aka SpinMaster Q & Assistor Shannon
Potential mayoral candidates are pitted in gameshow style against other Wellington personalities who care about the prospect of our capital!
Examining the home town issues, Radio Active 89FM is doing it's duty for the city it loves by exposing the purpose of the people who believe they have the goods to govern! We recognise the importance of who is holding the reins of power and we want to get under their skin and see how they survive under the scrutinisation.
This is a chance for Wellington to check out the future of Wellington... Vying to take out the finish line against Wellington's fastest mouths in town are the following fresh faced mayoral candidates:
Stephanie Cook --- 29 Aug
John Morrison --- 5 Sept
Mary Varnham --- 12 Sept
Kerry Prendegast --- 19 Sept
Merepeka Raukawa-Tait --- 26 Sept
Lindsay Milkop --- 3 Oct
... versus the brash and boisterous Wellington personalities who are more than happy to offer their very considerate opinions (tbc): Glenda Tuaine, Mark Cubey, Geoff Marsland, Jacob Briars, Deborah Morris, John McGrath
If you're concerned or conversely, if you're plainly unaware about who has the strength of character to be mayor of Wellington - about which person who has both the passion and the persuasion to ignite the potential of this city while making sure the rubbish and recycling gets picked up... then tune into Breakfast with Liam & Shannon on Wednesdays at 8:10am. The Active Mayoral Race... on till the postal election - weekend of 6 & 7th October, 2001.
