HUTT CITY TO HOST LGNZ CONFERENCE SEMINAR
Hutt City Council will host a seminar on Tuesday 17 July, called 'Rio to Reality - Panadol, Placebo or Panacea,' chaired by Green MP Sue Kedgley, as part of Local Government New Zealand's 2001 Conference. All media are welcome.
The seminar will run from 9.00am until 2.25 in the Little Theatre building, next to the War Memorial Library. More than 80 people have booked to attend the seminar from local authorities ranging from Kaitaia to Queenstown.
Speakers and their time of speaking include:

The conference runs from 16 to 18 July in Wellington and focuses on the current major reviews of local government legislation. The theme is: 'Elective Surgery - Changing the Face of Local Government.'
The Conference is being jointly hosted by all councils in Local Government New Zealand's Zone 4, which includes:
