Study Survival Promotion

Published: Thu 19 Oct 2000 04:56 PM
Manukau City Council Libraries are hoping to raise awareness of the resources and services available to students studying for exams, through their ‘Study Survival’ promotion.
All Young Adults (13-18 years) who either apply for a library card or simply use their library card between 24 October and 24 November, go into the draw to win one of eleven ‘Study Survival Packs’.
“Studying for exams can be extremely stressful times for teenagers, says Kelly McKean, Manukau Libraries Education Co-ordinator, “If students don’t have a suitable study area or access to resources like reference materials and study guides, it can add further stress to the situation.”
“We hope the ‘Study Survival’ promotion will encourage more students to take advantage of the resources available at Manukau Libraries, while having the opportunity to win some great prizes.”
Prize packs include subscriptions to Crème and Rip It Up magazines, a Collins Dictionary, Clean & Clear product, CDs and more. Crème magazine, Moyles Library Service and Clean & Clear have all supported the promotion by providing products for the packs.
