Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight
tomorrow:
Northland: Cloudy with light showers at times.
The north and west of the North Island from Auckland to Manawatu,
also for the central plateau: Fine in most places today but from
Wanganui southwards cloudy with a few light showers. Tomorrow
more extensive cloud with drizzly showers spreading elsewhere.
Bay of Plenty, Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine.
Wellington: Light showers about the upper valleys today,
elsewhere long fine periods. Tomorrow showers more widespread.
Nelson and Marlborough: Drizzle about the Nelson western ranges.
Fine elsewhere.
South Island west coast: Drizzly rain more persistent from early
tomorrow with heavy falls south of the glaciers.
Canterbury: Fine and mild today. Tomorrow rain about the Alps
with brief falls further east.
Otago and Southland: Fine today. Northwesterlies rising to gale in
exposed places tomorrow with rain about the western ranges spreading
elsewhere. Winds easing later.
Chatham Islands: Long fine periods today , cloudier tomorrow.
