Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:
For the North Island: Mainly fine over much of the island. Cloud becoming more extensive today about Wellington and in east coast areas south of Napier. Tomorrow, showers and southerlies sweep north reaching most places by evening.
Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago apart from the south coast: Mostly fine today. Showers and southerlies spread north overnight. Tomorrow showers slowly clearing from the coast with long fine breaks inland.
Buller and Westland: Cloudy conditions. Some drizzle likely Later today. Tomorrow, morning showers clearing from the south.
Fiordland, Southland and south Otago: Cloudy skies. Patchy rain becoming confined to the fiords. Cold showery weather developing from the south late tonight. Tomorrow, a few showers remain about the coast but becoming fine inland.
Chatham Islands: A few showers today becoming more persistent tomorrow.
