Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:
In the north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: A few cloudy periods along the west coast from Northland to Manawatu otherwise fine.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine today. Cloud and a few brief coastal showers spread north overnight then clearing tomorrow morning.
For Wellington: Mainly fine. Cloud increasing tonight with a few showers overnight then becoming fine again tomorrow.
For Nelson, Buller and Westland: Mostly fine weather. A few cloudy periods south of the glaciers tomorrow with late showers there.
Fiordland: Showers today turning to rain tomorrow.
In the east from Marlborough to Canterbury: Cloud and a few brief coastal showers spread north reaching Marlborough this evening. Tomorrow, fine after areas of coastal cloud clear.
Otago and Southland: Showers about the coast with mostly cloudy skies inland. Tomorrow, cloudy with a few showers about the south coast becoming more widespread after dark.
Chatham Islands: Cloud and fine breaks today with southwest winds. A few showers tomorrow.
