Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight
tomorrow:
In the north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: Mostly fine today apart from a few cloudy periods about Northland. Fine tomorrow.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine today. Cloud and a few brief coastal showers spread north overnight then clearing tomorrow morning.
For Wellington: Fine today. Cloud increasing tonight with a few showers overnight then becoming fine tomorrow.
For Nelson, Buller and Westland: Mostly fine weather. A few cloudy periods south of the glaciers tomorrow with late showers there.
Fiordland: Showers today turning to rain tomorrow.
In the east from Marlborough to Canterbury: Mainly fine at first. Cloud and a few brief coastal showers spread north this afternoon reaching Marlborough this evening. Tomorrow, fine after areas of coastal cloud clear.
Otago and Southland: Showers about the coast today with mostly cloudy skies inland. Tomorrow, cloudy with a few showers about the south coast becoming more widespread after dark.
Chatham Islands: Cloud and fine breaks today with southwest winds. A few showers tomorrow.
